Greater Wellington Councilor Adrienne Staples and Wairarapa Road Safety Council School Travel Planner Holly Hullena recently visited St Teresa’s School to present an excited Movin’March WOW Passport winner James Potaka-Coltman with a $400 MYRIDE voucher courtesy of My Ride and Greater Wellington.
Other winners on the day were Movin’March lead teacher Liz Lark who collected an award for St Teresa’s School achieving the Wairarapa region’s highest participation rate. The students recorded a 569 walking and wheeling trips for just three weeks in March which equates to over five trips per student. That’s the equivalent of walking from Featherston to Wellington 9 times!
